VIDEO: This is what a Ferrari 458 Italia on fire looks like on film

With so many Ferrari 458 Italia super-duper-cars going flambé on their owners, it was just a matter of time when someone would get one roasting on film. This prime example of Italy's hottest model was cooked somewhere in China's eastern coast.

We'll remind you that Ferrari has admitted through its UK spokesperson that it is currently investigating the 458 fires. According to media reports, in the past three months, a total of 11 Ferrari 458 Italia models (including this latest incident in China) have crashed with five of them being ruined by fire. Grab a bag of chips and enjoy the short film "A qualcuno piace caldo" right after the break.

Mega Robot Arm Turned into Ferrari F1 Racing Simulator [with Video]

This is by far the coolest thing I'm allowed to say I've seen today. It's a massive robot arm from some future Terminator that's been transformed into a Ferrari F1 simulator... a big one. Look closely and envision yourself in that seat kicking it to some Gran Turismo 5. It's immense.

The CyberMotion Simulator, built at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics, in Tübingen, Germany, rides on a theme park-derived Robocoaster arm that can lift 500 kg. But why is it important scientifically?

Ferrari 308 GTSi Owner Swaps Maranello's V8 for Pontiac Fierro's V6! [with Video]

We never cease to be amazed by the things some people do to their cars. But while we may turn a blind eye to creations such this Acura/Honda NSX turned into a Ferrari 360-lookalike or this Mazda RX-7-powered BMW E30, there's something fundamentally wrong with swapping the original 214HP 3.0-liter V8 powerhouse of a Ferrari 308 GTSi with the... Pontiac Fiero's, Chevrolet-sourced 140HP 2.8-liter V6 unit.

VIDEO: Chasing a Ferrari 458 Italia in The Netherlands

We don't know the driver's affiliation is with the dealer that brought this spanking new Ferrari 548 Italia to the Netherlands - maybe he's a client, perhaps he's a salesperson or even the owner - but case is that Youtube member 'Jorie 2' spotted the Italian supercar at Kroymans (Ferrari/Aston Martin/Maserati) in Hilversum and decided to follow and film the Prancing Horse model on the road. Not sure how the Ferrari driver felt about that, but you can check out the video after the jump.
